How did I started?

I’ve always taken photos on hikes without much of a plan — a snake here, a hummingbird thee, whatever showed up. What changed with this project was the reason for taking them.
WordPress keeps a Photo Directory: a library of images anyone can download and use for free, no cost and no attribution required. When I looked for Costa Rican wildlife there, I found almost nothing. A country known worldwide for its biodiversity, barely represented in one of the most widely used free image libraries on the internet.
